Editor's Review
Lot-Less in New York City offers an intriguing shopping experience, especially for those on the hunt for bargains. Reviewers often marvel at the unique items available, with one shopper, WHITE LION, declaring it the "best dollar store in Manhattan" and praising its lunch boxes found nowhere else. The charm of discovering that perfect product at a fraction of the price is undeniably appealing.
However, not everything is sunshine and rainbows; several customers expressed disappointment regarding the quality control of perishables. For instance, Joby Jacob cautioned, "Always read the expiration date of perishable items," illustrating a concerning trend where expired products occasionally slip through the cracks. Similarly, Zan Jav recounted a negative experience with a manager's dismissive attitude after finding expired food, highlighting a potential issue in customer service that some patrons have encountered.
Despite these hiccups, many still find value in what Lot-Less has to offer, especially if you're willing to hunt for deals and keep an eye out for expiration dates. It seems that while the store holds treasures, it also carries a few risks.

This is by far the best "dollar store" in Manhattan. This location has items that I've never seen at other locations. I go every 3 or 4 months to buy lunch boxes. It's a must to stop by if happen to be in the area. Meal-prep bang for the buck.
I used to like this place a lot. However, lately it's has become underwhelming. You can still find one or two good items but the quality has considerably decreased. With that said, I'm probably a die hard shopper.
Be very careful with what you buy. Always read the expiration date of perishable items. I purchased this mistakingly without looking and it is way past it's "best if used by" date. Picture below.
