The atmosphere is quite casual and can feel a bit disorganized, which some customers find amusing while others are put off. Expect to spend time digging through the bins to find items that suit your needs, as the store's layout is not typical of a conventional retail space.
Located conveniently in Farmington, the store is accessible for both local residents and visitors. You'll find ample parking nearby, making it easy to pop in for a quick browse or a longer treasure hunt.
Editor's Review
Overstock Outlet Super Store in Farmington, MI, is a mixed bag. Some people find it to be a treasure trove of oddities, while others describe it as a dump. As Karen Bulbuk bluntly stated, "This place is a dive and a poor excuse for a store." You’ll discover a lot of pre-owned goods, ranging from appliances to food items, many of which are past their expiration date. Talk about a gamble.
On the bright side, the store caters to bargain hunters and those looking for quirky finds. Several reviewers, including LaRon Rosser, noted that the store meets the needs of its target audience. If you're after a shelving unit or a laugh, this might be the place for you. But don't expect everything to be new or pristine; the clutter and disorganization are evident.
One major caveat is their return policy. As C.J. mentioned, refunds are a no-go, but you might get store credit if you make a fuss. Don't expect that to be easy either. This place isn’t for the faint-hearted shopper. You need to know what you’re getting into.
