Editor's Review
Bargain Bin in Middlefield, OH, stands out as a unique shopping destination that has carved its niche by catering to a specific demographic, particularly the Amish community, while also welcoming everyone else. The reviews paint a picture of a store that resembles an Amish version of a Walmart, filled with a diverse range of products from garden supplies to household tools. As Kitty Jim Philson aptly put it, "The Amish version of Walmart. Almost anything the Amish people would like to have. Everyone leaves with something." This suggests that visitors often find what they need, whether they're part of the Amish community or not.
However, it’s not all perfect. While many praise the store for its variety and affordability, some customers do express disappointment, particularly regarding pricing. Barb Van Sickle mentioned her surprise at the lack of actual “bins” that might hint at a discount store experience, saying, "A nice store just the same, but pricey!" This reflects a common expectation that some patrons have about bargain shopping.
Despite these concerns, reviews generally highlight the friendly atmosphere and the store’s ability to provide a fun outing. Charlie Davis noted how the aisles might be tight but still manageable, even for those with mobility challenges. This blend of accessibility and variety seems to keep customers returning. Overall, the consensus is that Bargain Bin offers a delightful shopping experience for anyone interested in exploring a bit of Amish culture while stocking up on practical items.
