Editor's Review
East Boston Center 99¢ Plus is more than just another discount store; it’s a whimsical treasure trove tucked away in Boston. With an eclectic mix of items that range from clothes to hardware, this quirky spot has something for everyone. As Gilbert Gonzalez raved, 'This a small store but literally got everything you need. It’s like a small version of Home Depot with Macy’s combined.' You can definitely feel the charm and nostalgia of this beloved local shop.
However, it’s not without its quirks. Some reviewers have shared their frustrations about the store's inconsistent hours, with Yeraldin Muñoz Marin lamenting, 'How bad that they say it opens at 10 and it's not true.' Additionally, while many appreciate the unique finds, others have pointed out that the pricing can sometimes be misleading, as M. R. mentioned, 'Most of the things I found were more than 99¢.' Despite these minor hiccups, the store continues to attract a loyal customer base who cherish the randomness and variety.
With a rating of 3.9 out of 5 based on 21 reviews, this small but mighty establishment remains a go-to for those in search of fun and affordable items. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit!

ngl i grew up going to this store nd i loved it because of how unique and random it was, nd i also loved the smell. But i was so sad to go into that store with one of my friends just to find out that you have to be 18 or up or be with an adult to eve...
How bad that they say it opens at 10 and it's not true
This is a fun and quirky 99¢ shop. You can find clothes, hardware, toiletries, kicknacks, and fish here. Most of the things I found were more than 99¢. But the prices were low and there were a lot of unique items.
Not as good as other nearby locations. Cashier was on the phone. Objects were overpriced for what they were. Not that big of a selection.
