Editor's Review

Crazy Bin Store #2 in Independence, MO, has garnered a mix of reviews that highlight both its strengths and weaknesses. Many shoppers seem to appreciate the thrill of hunting for deals among the bins, as one happy customer, Haley Ellerman, celebrated the store's good prices and the excitement of new items arriving every Friday. She noted that Fridays are especially rewarding, as the store closes on Thursdays to restock, leading to fresh finds. However, not all experiences are rosy. A customer named W Creative Lab expressed disappointment after purchasing a juicer that turned out to be missing parts, lamenting, 'I should’ve known better than to pay so much for something at a bin store.' This sense of caution is echoed by others who felt that the quality of items could be lacking.

Another common criticism is the store's management and organization. Dapper D remarked on the poor training of staff and the ineffective use of checklists, saying the store 'beats retail rebel (not a very high bar).' In addition, Jacquelyn Gibbs recounted a frustrating encounter with the owner regarding unmarked boxes, emphasizing how the communication could be improved to enhance the shopping experience. Overall, Crazy Bin Store #2 offers a unique blend of excitement and disappointment, making it a spot worth visiting if you enjoy a good treasure hunt, but be prepared for some unpredictability.

Best for: Bargain hunters looking for unique deals and willing to dig through bins.

Bought a juicer that was taped shut, unable to open to see contents. Item was on the wall shelves (these items are priced closer to retail) - got home excited to juice and this thing is clearly missing parts. I’m sad about it! The sign says no return...

Not the best bin store I've been to, but it beats retail rebel (not a very high bar). They leave thier "open" sign on, so don't be fooled. This is a result of not using a checklist and bad/no training.

I doubt there's anything good in the bins on the best day. Went first of the week and bins only had low quality items in it. Behind the counter was a lot of better quality items, but most were not a good deal.

So many boxes have no markings at all, and they put them on the tables anyway, expecting you to go to their "box opening table" to see what is inside. Such a waste of time. I began to open a single box and the owner called me out in front of all the ...
